Wildflower Ridge Farm is rooted in faith, family, and stewardship of the land God has entrusted to us.

Our journey took a defining turn in 2016 when we purchased our first Myotonic (fainting) goats and quickly fell in love with the breed. Since then, we have traveled across the United States to thoughtfully build a herd of registered Myotonic goats focused on quality, temperament, and sound genetics.

 

In addition to our Myotonic's, we also raise Boer goats and have recently begun crossing our Myotonic and Boers to create animals that combine the muscle, growth, and marketability of Boers with the hardiness, efficiency, and calm nature of Myotonics, truly the best of both worlds.

 

Beyond goats, we maintain a small herd of cattle, raise bantam Cochin and Serama chickens, and spend our seasons gardening and making hay. Our children are an important part of daily farm life, learning firsthand the value of hard work, responsibility, and what it means to be good caretakers of God’s creation. Teaching them to respect animals, land, and the process behind food and farming is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.

 

Our farm operates with a strong focus on regenerative agriculture. In 2022, we expanded onto additional land and began implementing rotational grazing for both goats and cattle to improve soil health and animal well-being. It has been a continual learning process, one that reminds us agriculture is a lifelong education, and it should be.
